How to update the FCC webpage

 

Logging into the Church Page

  • Go to FCCOFDALLAS.com

  • Press “escape” key on your keyboard to access our site login.

  • Enter the church email and password

    • Email: Admin@fccofdallas.com

    • Pass: FCC@Dallas19

 

Navigating Pages

  • The site is broken into three sections

    • Main Navigation: Top of homepage sections. Adding to this requires board approval. Most pages should be added within one of these existing sections.

    • Footer Navigation: Bottom of all pages. Adding to this requires board approval.

    • Unlinked Pages: These are reference pages, For example the Volunteer signup page is considered “Unlinked” because its not on the main navigation or footer, but it is referenced with a click through on the Volunteer page itself, which is under “Get Connected”.

  • Our site has 6 main sections. This is to keep the most important main topics front and center but not overwhelm new visitors. Because of the importance of this any changes to the 6 main sections would need board approval. If you are adding a page within one of the 6 main sections you do not need approval

  • Main Sections

    • Welcome Page - Our homepage is the first thing any visitor will see. It should have upcoming events and timely information. As well as link to church information.

    • Live Page - Simply our live streaming service page.

    • About Us Page - Everything FCC related to our purpose as a church, info about staff, and contact information.

    • Get Connected Page - All things ministry. This is the likely best location for any new teams or ministries.

    • Give Page - Links through to our giving page.

    • Plan a Visit Page - All things a new visitor may want to know.

 

Footer Navigation Sections

The Footer Navigation Pages

  • Our site has 4 footer sections. This is meant for housing information more specific to current members of the church. They are quick links to help with navigating the site but not meant to be front and center like the main navigation sections. If you are adding a page within one of the 4 footer sections you do not need approval, please get board approval to add an additional footer section.

  • Footer Sections

    • FCC Events - All upcoming events

    • Text Notifications - Form to signup for text notifications.

    • Newsletters - Signup for church newsletters and all old newsletters.
